Comment by Gary Smith on February 17, 2011 at 9:25am Welcome Jennifer, I don't know your budget but if you can it is best to go with something new. The main reason is that you can get fitted for the Bike as part of the price, and the fit is the most important thing. I would go with an entry level road bike, and some clip-on aero bars, the handling would be better and its just more versatile. Go with an aluminum frame, much cheaper and you can always upgrade to carbon later if you choose. Shop around there are many good bike shops, Vertical earth, Mountain Veiw, Fitness Fanatics, Shulls, The trek dealer on 4th st., The specialised dealer on Hayden & 95. I am sure there are others I am missing. It would be best to get the bike fitted for you instead of trying to get a bike to fit you so one that deals with a lot of brands would be best.
